Newest Reviews
Very happy to read the latest reviews of some of my work from two well-respected book reviewers who seem to truly understand what I’m trying to do with my writing.
So, grateful thanks to Steph Warren (Bookshine and Readbows) and Píaras Ó Cíonnaoíth (Emerald Book Reviews) for their articulate, thoughtful comments which help me understand how my words are landing in a world so different from the one I grew up in. |
Unfashionable as it may be, I simply aim to entertain and provide the reader with a pleasant escape from everyday life and its many real problems. So, yes, my narratives are full of wish-fulfilment and impossible perfection, but also a bit of socio-cultural commentary on the way to the blissful HEA. In my observation, there is an abundance of talented authors producing gritty, disquieting, crime-heavy stories. So I try for something completely different. It’s a joy when I find someone who “gets it”.
You can read Steph’s reviews of Kyle Harrison Movie Star and Night of the Webcam on her blog, but also on Goodreads and Amazon.
The reviews of Kyle Harrison Movie Star and Scot Free in Hollywood by Píaras also appear on his website, Goodreads and Amazon.
Being featured on two of the very best literary blogs out there is truly special!

A top-award-winning blog, called “Linda’s Book Bag” hosted me and Book One of my “Kyle in Hollywood” series in a delightful feature entitled, “Staying In With”.

Very excited to have been included in the latest promo newsletter by BookHippo.uk
These guys are very selective and, judging by the other featured authors, I'm in VERY good company. |
Plus they've got a really cute badge:
